The second driver for the upcoming season alongside Audi factory driver Katherine Legge will be Christijan Albers. Christijan is well known in DTM, as he already became successfully second in the DTM championship in 2003, as the driver with the most victories.

Christijan began kart racing at a young age, winning the Dutch National championship in 1997. That same year, he was crowned Formula Ford 1800 champion in both the Netherlands and in Belgium . In 1998, he moved up to the German Formula 3 series, winning the championship in 1999 behind 6 wins and ten poles.

After one year in the Formula 3000 international championship, 2001 Christijan started racing succesfully in DTM and became Formula One test- and spare driver for European Minardi F1, from 2005 to 2007 he
was racing for Midland and Spyker F1.

Christijan is a strong, ambitious character who will surely advance the whole team with his experience.
